How long have you known you wanted to become a real estate agent?
I actually figured it out later than most do. I was actually studying to become a veterinarian at LSU. I was one semester away from getting my undergrad when my financial aid didn’t go through. Turns out, that was the best thing that ever happened to me. Real estate gave me a chance to help others in a way that’s much more enjoyable.
What drew you toward real estate?
There are a lot of things that attracted me to real estate. I just knew I wanted to help people and solve problems. I also love houses, especially vintage homes. However, it wasn’t until I bought my first home that I realized real estate was for me.
I bought my first house at a young age and looking back, I felt clueless. My realtor did the job but made no attempts to walk me through the process. This was the biggest financial decision of my life, and I was in the dark. That solidified it for me. I didn’t want anyone else to make this commitment without getting the help they deserve.
